Overnighters

We've (managers) been going from store to store at closing time to re-arrange, clean, straighten, yada yada, for the last month or so. Wednesday, we did what we think was the last of them....this is what it looks like when you want to move a whole fixture at once. Big strong men managers :)

OOOO - New Shirts!!

Here - Jason is modeling the new Shift Lead shirt. Still in the classic polo style, this one is in a smooth knit, where the shirts of old were pique. This particular style also comes in black. Doesn't he look happy in his new shirt!!

Sunday in the Park

Nikki and I had to run to Charlotte to pick up the new Blockbuster shirts. On the way home we stopped at the park in Gastonia for a picnic lunch and some swinging!

Alive After Five

Max enjoyed the time in the square.

Sherry

We were headed home today after dropping Jake and at work - when Zach saw that my friend Betty was outside. Zach requested we stop, and told me where to turn around. We were able to visit - not only Betty, but her 6 week old Boxer pups as well. She let Zach take this one home with him for the night, Sherry, as they call her, went to Alive After Five with us, and made many new friends. It was sad to have to give her back, but we have Pepper, and she is enough. If you live in the Shelby area and are interested in a pup like Sherry - she has brothers and sisters, both Fawn and Brindle. Just drop me a line.

Everyone Likes to Lick the Bowl!!

Usually its Tim and Jake fighting over the brownie batter. Not this time, Zach waited till I was done then swiped the bowl - who knew???

Relay for Life

Last week a bunch of us participated in Relay for Life, and although I was quick to put an album up on Facebook, I was much slower getting to here. A good time was had by all, and we raised over $600.00.

Cheap Roses

A couple of years ago when Dad was coming down to look at houses before Mom could get away - he and I went to Big Lots, and bought a dozen $1.99 rose bushes. Well, a few years later, I think about 6 have survived, and this one - she just keeps getting bigger and prettier!

Cupcakes!

We had a Bake Sale on Sunday for Relay for Life. We made about $200. Not bad. We made cupcakes at our house: chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, spice, and we played by mixing a few flavors too.

Dirty Dog

Max and Zach thought it would be good to clean Pepper with carburator cleaner. Not good!! So, Pepper needed a real bath. She did good, and she got a reward for being good.

Fixin Up the Hallway

Last weekend I was cleaning out closets and the office, so I hung the pictures in the hall. It use to hang all the pictures of weddings and babies, but I thought I would change it up to just the boys. The other pictures were purchased in 1976, when the family first visted Gatlinburg, TN.
