Blackberry Crumble
We have blackberry bushes behind the house. Every year I say I'm gonna pick 'em and eat 'em. Then the birds get there first or the big green beetles that come out in July are to annoying.....anyway, Zach has been picking any of the ones he sees and can reach and tonight both he and Max helped me get more than a handful. They are slightly tart, but when you sugar them and turn them into a yummy crumble, they are delish! Now, I just have to keep watching, and hopefully we'll get a few more before the birds and the beetles beat us to to it.

My New Best Friend
While the boys are away - Pepper only gets to play with Mommy. So, at night she comes in and wrestle and I scratch her and pet her and she's a happy clam and goes to bed pretty easily. Tonight she was pretty content to chill and watch Confessions of a Shopaholic, and eat the ice cubes from my glass of Zero. Hard to believe she once hated me so. (no clue as to what she is yet - check out her goofy ears!)
Party #1
Sorry.....
It's been 10 days since I blogged anything. I never got the chance to put Jake's pictures from graduation on here, and since my camera died that night, I only have one really lame picture. I do have a few fun ones from his party, I'll try to throw one up in a second. The boys are in Illinois with Tim visiting that side of the family. From what I hear they are having a good time. They may not want to come back.......Me, I've been at work way to much this week.

Graduates Breakfast
The ladies of the Sallie Dellinger Circle at church held a breakfast for Confirmands and Graduates. Papa, Bootie, Grandma, Jake, the boys and I all enjoyed breakfast, and a program put on by Shirley Huffman. In the pictures he receives a personalized cross from the ladies, and later shows it to Pastor, Papa and Ludy.
