Every year for the last 5 years, Jake and I have had a Mother and Son Christmas party. We invite everyone to show up around 6, we serve lasgana, salad and bread around 7 pm. Then we have a grab bag, playing the "dirty Santa" game, where you can steal from other people (and we had some of that going on!). Finally we wrap up with a cookie exchange and a little dessert of cookies, ice cream and coffee if you want it. I like it, because all the mothers get to meet together, and complain or praise together, and the guys like it, because they play football in the beginning, eat big dinner, get gifts, play football again, and eat dessert! (We had 7 sets of Moms/Sons, so we had to have it at Booties - cuz there's just no room for 8 teenage boys AND their moms. - thanks again Boots!!!(and Poppa))
Main Entry: nut·shell Pronunciation: 'n&t-"shel Function: noun 1 : the hard external covering in which the kernel of a nut is enclosed 2 : something of small size, amount, or scope - in a nutshell : in a very brief statement
