Saturday at the fair, some of the stands were giving out free balloons. I usually avoid such things, as they tend to get in my line a vision when I drive, pop unexpectedly - scaring the crap out of me, or if they make it into the house they tend to gravitate to rooms with ceiling fans - very uncool. On this particular occasion though, I did allow it, and Max took one from the Debbie Clary (I think that's her name) booth. On the way out of the fairgrounds I heard this blood curdling scream! My balloon! Before I could jump and grab it (ya, that would be a sight) it was off into the sky. You can see a little red speck in the vast greyness of this picture, and that my friends is Max's balloon. The biggest deal to him and completely free. :(

Up, Up and Away
